Greetings! My name is Caryn, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years’ experience working in the mental health field. After obtaining a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University, I began working in the community providing quality psychotherapy. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, seniors, veterans, and married couples experiencing a broad range and severity of clinical issues. My warm and engaging style is a great fit for individuals facing challenges with adjusting to life, dealing with stress, depressed mood and anxiety, experiencing unsatisfactory relationships and those who’ve experienced traumatic events.

I am passionate about helping people get better. I use evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Solution focused counseling. I believe in a strength based, person-centered, and integrative approach in treatment.

I am a United States Army Veteran and I know first-hand the importance of addressing mental health issues. I recognize and know from experience how much better life can be when you find support and take steps towards taking care of yourself! I strive to provide a safe and welcoming space where healing and transformation can occur.
