About

When you can't connect to people you love, it's painful. It feels like you try to connect, but they get farther away. Life can be hard, and even harder when your past gets in the way of your present and future. Sometimes issues such as being LGBTQ+,culture, religion, or a being a blended family makes relationships harder or more complicated. Sometimes, people need to work through their own "stuff" and sometimes, couples or families need to come together to try and get their relationship back - but an even better one is possible! There is no story with too much shame or guilt to bring to me, I create a safe place for healing! People are also sometimes given bad examples on how to love and live. Many of our parents avoided fights, had too many fights, pretending like everything was okay, or made chaos happen. Even with the best of parents, we don't learn "how to" classes or everything on life and love. We don't learn how to choose and keep a partner or how to get our needs met. Life can get so tough that we make bad choices. Bad choices do not have to define you and your relationships. Sometimes you can work it out, or sometimes you need a fresh start. Even having an affair or using drugs and alcohol doesn't mean love ends. Even if you think you are a lost hope, please give therapy a try.
