Hello, I am Caroline Regan a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in my native St Louis Missouri. I earned my bachelor’s in social work from the University of Missouri Columbia, and my master’s in social work at Washington University in St Louis and have been a practicing social worker for 30 years.
I am an Association of Nature and Forest Therapy certified forest therapy guide. My practice emphasizes healing and wellness through immersion in nature and other natural environments. That may sound impossible through telehealth but very doable, easy, and beneficial. I would be glad to help you improve your health and well-being with nature connection and mindfulness.
Not only do I actually guide participants in forest bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) but I am also a home health social worker meeting with clients in their homes to address any needs they may have. I am a career hospital and hospice social worker recognizing that chronic and acute medical conditions can have a huge impact on our sense of well-being. My areas of expertise include psychosocial stressors, end of life, grief, stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, other chronic medical conditions, caregiving, caregiver stress and elder care counseling (all of the issues/stressors related to the care of your elderly loved one). This will not be your run of the mill-sit on the couch therapy session. It is down to earth talking and experiencing within your safe space for expression and healing. I am LGBTQ allied and serve male and female adults, elderly, geriatrics.
