I am a Marriage & Family therapist with 8 years experience doing individual, couples, and family therapy. I am licensed in both Missouri and Kansas. I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of concerns including trauma, relationships, depression, anxiety, life stressors, blended families, and identity issues.
My style of therapy is empathetic, warm, and caring. I work from a strengths based position, building on tools that you already have and helping teach you tools for growth and development. I use techniques from hypnosis and EMDR as well as Self-Compassion to help you create a life closer to what you want.
When it comes to goals, my goals are your goals. I will not force or push for anything that is outside of your desires, it is your life, after all.
It can be difficult to reach out for help. I realize that we will be meeting each other when you may be feeling particularly vulnerable. I think you will find our interactions to be uplifting and empowering.
