Hi my name is Carey and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana. I have experience in the inpatient, outpatient, individual, and group settings. I have most extensive knowledge with issues such as : depression, anxiety, Bipolar disorder, daily stress and ways to cope such as loss of a job, relationship issues, death and dying, as well as many other common stressors we face today. In this world where we all feel a bit scared at times I believe we ALL could use someone to talk to and my goal is to be that person.
My counseling style is person/client centered. I will let you lead the way on your on personal path to self awareness and self growth. I will also challenge you along the way and help you to see where you might have some road blocks and then together we will set goals to work around them to get you to the ultimate place you'd like to be..one step at a time. Simply put I would love the opportunity to walk with you on your journey to being the best version of yourself while empowering you along the way!
