Hello there!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Missouri with over 5 years of experience working with individuals in the mental health field. I have worked with a wide variety of clients from young children to aging adults. I have assisted clients managing concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, and ADHD.
My approach to counseling is mostly through the lens of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is just a fancy way of saying how behaviors, thoughts, and actions are all linked. I enjoy helping clients to identify core beliefs and challenge automatic thoughts or negative self-talk. I enjoy using humor, compassion, and respect to build relationships with clients and create a safe and comfortable atmosphere.
I understand just how challenging it can be to make changes and begin the process of sharing and self-reflection, but I enjoy nothing more than helping people through this new journey.
