About

My name is Dr. Caleb Reese, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Missouri.

I have been in the behavioral health field for 10+ years in a variety of positions. I believe obstacles can be the path to success, and I hope to be of service those who are struggling. A willingness to ask for help requires courage. I strive to provide guidance and support as we explore your inner strengths. I do not ask my clients to do anything I would not, and I recognize my own fallibilities because I am human, too. Through collaborative work and a desire to push toward change, my goal is to aid in recognizing what you have control over in order to make the most of your valuable time.

I am straight-forward yet compassionate because I believe genuineness nurtures growth. We cannot choose what happens to us; however, we can learn how to respond more effectively as we build toward a life worth living.

I am originally from the Chicagoland area and attended undergraduate obtaining a bachelor’s in psychology and minor in Psychology of Crime & Justice. Upon graduation, I moved to Southern California where I worked full-time with individuals suffering from mental illnesses, substance use concerns, and legal issues. I started a master’s program in psychology as I worked assisting families affected by gang violence, homelessness, and systemic racism. I attended graduate school in Oregon at an APA-accredited program where I received training in psychological evaluations, evidence-based practices, and a variety of training opportunities with law enforcement agencies. My doctoral dissertation was a qualitative study of voluntary transience among young adults while my graduate thesis focused on community resources and revocation rates among youth offenders. After completing an APA-accredited predoctoral internship in Washington DC, I graduated with my PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) in 2015. I received postdoctoral training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in intensive outpatient group therapy and forensic inpatient hospital settings, respectively. I have worked in the community mental health field providing individual and group therapy, conducting psychological evaluations, teaching mindfulness skills, and providing training on Motivational Interviewing (MI). I utilize evidence-based treatments and objective measures to ensure the highest quality of care for my clients while being empathic, collaborative, and validating.

I look forward to working with you!
