Briona Kerr is a LMSW who obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Georgia State University. She has been in the social work and counseling fields for over 7 years and has worked in for-profit as well as non-profit spaces. Briona has a great passion for the combination of the social and clinical sides of social work. She has worked with families and children through her role as a case manager before beginning her career in counseling. Briona specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, with specialty areas in treating depression, anxiety, self-esteem, PTSD, ADHD, conflict resolution, parent-child relationships, and couples therapy. She believes in whole health and uses a range of interventions based on each client’s needs and goals. Briona empowers her clients by helping them realize they are the expert of their body and mind and she is just the assistant to help them get back in control. In her spare time, Briona enjoys being a boy mom to her son as well as spending time with her family and friends. She loves to travel, exercise, and eat at her favorite restaurants and cook her favorite meals.
