Bridget’s warmth, empathy and gentle sense of humor will put you at ease as you build a trusting relationship with her and make changes to build your best life. You’ll experience tremendous healing power from the strong bond you’ll share within a therapeutic relationship with her. Bridget specializes in working with clients who have experienced trauma, and who struggle with using addictive substances to either cope with mental health issues or have developed a mental health diagnosis as a result of abusing substances. Having her own experiences with mental health and addiction, Bridget knows first-hand how scary therapy can be, and she has the utmost respect for how much courage it takes to reach out for help. With a Master’s degree in Counseling and having worked with people from all walks of life in many settings, she uses treatment modalities such as motivational interviewing, EMDR, and tools she’s acquired from being trained in Brene Brown’s work as a Certified Daring Way Facilitator.
