Hi I am most known as @TherapyWithAsh a leading expert in racial trauma and trauma in general. I am the founder and President of the WA Therapy Fund Foundation. A psychotherapist, Tedx international speaker, and author who has been featured in Forbes, MSNBC, The young turks, Bravo, & more. I have received a Masters of Social Work from the University of Washington and I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

I specialize in racial trauma and help my clients understand the impact that racism has on their mental health, as well as finding ways to heal. I am a trauma informed therapist. People know me as their favorite millennial therapist. While I am a Black therapist who specializes in racial trauma & minority mental health. I pride myself in providing a safe space for ALL to feel empowered, gain insight, and learn skills to get through the difficult stage you are in. My past work as a hospice therapist has equipped me to help individuals live well.

At my practice we work toward empowered healing, changing negative behaviors, and thoughts. You are the driver and very much in control. We work together as I believe an integrative psychotherapy approach is necessary including a broad array of modalities: solution focused therapy, strengths based therapy, & CBT.
