Hello!
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensed in Florida with 5 years of experience working with a variety of populations and issues. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, PTSD, anxiety, social stressors/challenges, parenting problems, substance abuse, phase of life issues, family conflicts, and emotional abuse. Recently I have worked with women struggling with substance abuse in a residential setting; I have the knowledge and understanding of 12 step recovery. I am experienced in facilitating group therapy, family counseling sessions, and individual therapy.

In 2016 I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. My counseling style is person-centered. I firmly believe in "meeting the client where they are" and serving as a catalyst to each individual client during their process of self-exploration. I believe in treating all clients with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral-Therapy to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may often lead to self-defeating behaviors. I will tailor treatment to meet the needs of the client I am working with and include the client in determining the best course of action for therapy.
