I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who specializes in co-occurring (mental health and substance abuse) disorders. I have been practicing for 4 years and believe in treating clients with mental health and/or substance abuse issues from a holistic approach. While medicine management can be a crucial aspect of treatment, I believe, to aid healing one must consider the human as a whole. I have worked in inpatient and outpatient facilities treating adults and young adults. I utilize evidence-based practices to treat depression, anxiety, addictions, personality disorders, and trauma. I am also trained in mindfulness meditation which I frequently use in therapy. As a woman of color, I am also a strong advocate for mental health within the BIPOC community.
