Rubina Dhani, M.A. LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. She provides psychotherapy to adolescents and adults for various patients experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem difficulties, abuse, trauma, life transitions/phases, relationship issues, PTSD, emotional distress, cultural issues, and school-related concerns. Rubina is also very passionate about working with a multicultural population of adolescents and Women. Rubina has more than ten years of experience working with various client populations. Rubina has worked in multiple settings, including schools, outpatient clinics, and community mental health agencies around Los Angeles & San Diego, thereby giving her a wealth of experience in aiding clients from all walks of life achieve their goals. Her specialty area is working with adolescents, young adults, Women, and cultural issues/struggles. Rubina trained in EMDR- (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Part 1 & 2; Certified in evidenced-based practices: MAP –(Managing & Adapting Practices), Certified in (ICARE) –( Assessment of young children using the infancy, childhood & relationship enrichment initial intake assessment tool), trauma-informed Breathwork, and utilizes many different therapeutic approaches such as CBT, holistic approaches, Solution Focused therapy. Rubina is friendly and empathetic with a compassionate, approachable demeanor. Rubina dedicated herself to providing a nurturing and safe environment.
