About

I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Missouri. I have been practicing as a therapist for over 10 years. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Prolonged exposure. I have worked extensively with individuals who struggled with managing emotions and thoughts that may often lead to behaviors that are interfering with their quality of life. My role is to accept you where you are at, and also work on helping to push towards the change you want in your life. My counseling style is empathetic, non-judgmental and compassionate. I also specialize in working with people who have had trauma in their life, ranging from abandonment, neglect, sexual, physical abuse, emotional abuse, self esteem issues, anxiety, attachment and self harming behaviors. My goal as a therapist is to help you see yourself in the most kind and compassionate way possible. Upon working together, we will discuss what is the most troublesome in your life and break that down in realistic small steps to get your closer to where you need be.
