Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

Professionally I have over 20 years of experience in the counseling field. Experience has been in a wide variety of clinical settings including mental health, substance use/dual diagnosis, domestic violence/sexual assault, trauma, homelessness, troubled youth, developmental disabilities, HIV/AIDS, Christian/spiritual counseling, grief, and crisis intervention. In these settings, I have had the opportunity to provide individual, group, marital and couple, and family counseling.

My educational accomplishments include an: Associate in Liberal Arts & Social Sciences - Psychology and Police Science from Jamestown Community College, Bachelors in Science - Community & Human Services from Empire State College; and a Masters in Science - Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Additionally, I received a Certificate in Contemporary Theory of Addictive Behavior from Capella University. I have also received a certificate in Crisis Intervention from the American Health Institute for Professionals.

As your therapist, I believe that you have the ability to heal from past hurts and traumas.
