Hello! My name is Ana Tamez and I am a Licensed Professional Therapist in Texas. I graduated with my Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling at UTRGV. I have six years in the mental health field where I have had the privilege of working with people and their families of all ages. I have gained experience in working in youth & family services, an unaccompanied minor shelter housing children from Central America, and more recently, a behavioral hospital. My treatment approach depends on the needs of who I am working with however, I primarily focus on CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing in order to help you better help yourself in the most positive way possible. On my spare time I enjoy reading, working out, and spending time relaxing with my four year old dog. I love to learn and help others as much as I can, I look forward to growing with you!
