Hello! I am Amy Marshall. I am a licensed professional counselor and certified life coach with over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, teens, and adults. I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, community mental health, and school-based programs. I have helped individuals, couples, and families presenting with mood concerns, anxiety, career-related issues, life transitions, grief, psychosis, trauma, abuse, ADHD, codependency, sexuality related concerns, family conflict, parenting concerns, LGBTQ related struggles, spiritual concerns, autism, intellectual disabilities, eating issues, poverty, and more.

I would describe my therapeutic style as warm, supportive, and collaborative. I use a client-centered, holistic, multicultural, solution-focused, and integrative approach in counseling. I meet you where you are, figuratively speaking, and tailor my approach to your current needs, with respect and attention paid to your culture and life experiences.

I use evidenced-based techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused counseling. I also incorporate strengths-based and creative techniques.
