Hello, my name is Amy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor licensed in Missouri with over 20 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, women’s issues, caregiver stress, life purpose, cancer, and end of life issues. I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma or traumatic events. I have assisted clients from a variety of backgrounds, professions, and walks of life.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I meet clients where they are at and allow them to lead with my encouragement. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I believe in using language which is person-first instead of stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, mindfulness, and solution-focused counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
