Hello and welcome. My name is Amy. Have you been struggling with anxious thoughts and panic attacks? Do you have trouble detangling yourself from obsessive thinking? Have you recently gone through a major life change and find that you are feeling a little lost? I work with individuals who are ready to calm the anxiety within and move into a place of greater peace and contentment. We will work together to identify the anxious thoughts and behavior patterns keeping you stuck and create new pathways to get you moving again. In addition to cognitive behavioral techniques, I also utilize mindfulness, with an emphasis on self compassion and self care. Whether you have experienced anxiety for as long as you can remember or have recently gone through a major life change such as welcoming a new baby, job promotion or job loss, divorce, or death of a loved one, I am here to help you navigate through the storm and establish your 'new normal.' I believe we are all trying our best. It takes great courage to examine yourself and even greater courage to share your inner thoughts and feelings with another person.
