Hello! My name is Amy, I have 5 years of experience as a medical social worker and therapist. I specialize in working with people experiencing health changes and challenges or interacting with the healthcare system in a number of ways, grief and loss, and life transition. I also have experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBT+ support, family concerns and parenting challenges.

My variety of experience allows me to both support and emotional therapeutic process and well as help you make concrete practical steps toward goals. My approach is strengths based, which means that I believe every person comes to therapy with a deep wisdom, many skills, and everything they need to be successful. My role is to support your process, teach you new perspectives that may be helpful, and create space for meaningful change.

I do not currently work full time proving therapy, which I feels allows me to keep my caseload small and be very focused on each client. That being said, this also means that I only schedule clients on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday regularly, which does not work for everyone’s schedule. Please keep this in mind when matching with me or agreeing to therapy with me.
