Hello!
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) for the state of Kansas and LPC for the the state of Missouri. I have been practicing in this field for six years where I started working with women of domestic violence and children of abuse and neglect. More so, I have experience with individual and group therapy, inpatient psychiatric patients, intensive outpatient (IOP) groups for women and adolescents, and provide support to military children and families. I have experience with clients presenting with anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, military culture related stressors, trauma related issues, relationship issues, and LGBTQ+ issues.

My motto in my practice is “we can do hard things.” My approach is client-centered and I believe in meeting you where you want to met. I enjoy integrating various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) followed through by using strength-based and solutions-focused approaches. Feedback from my clients include their appreciation for my tone, safe place, genuine interest and empathy in their daily lives, and my experiences that allow me to understand you more.

Outside of doing the work I love, I enjoy family time with my Partner and daughter, mainly outdoors or with sports. Traveling is my favorite hobby, and being by the water (preferably the ocean) is my happy place.
