Hello and welcome! Thank you for coming by to learn about me! I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas, and I have a master's in clinical psychology from University of Houston - Clear Lake. I have over 6 years of experience working with individuals (i.e., children, adolescents, and adults) and/or their families. I have worked with clients who have experienced: trauma, abuse, depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues (i.e., familial, platonic, or romantic), self-esteem and self-confidence issues, issues with emotion regulation, and/or adjustment issues. I believe in customizing treatment to address client needs, and I often use the following approach: motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I believe in emphasizing strengths in therapy in order to build a healthy, therapeutic relationship with clients.
