I have been a licensed professional counselor in Georgia for 5 years, where my experiences have ranged from community-based services to residential treatment to private practice, where I have primarily worked with children & adolescents as well as their families.
I come into each therapy session with a person centered, humanistic approach, in that I believe the client relationship is the most important piece of the therapeutic work.
I have training in CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT, where my areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidality, trauma, relationship issues, and developing & enhancing self-esteem.
