Hello, My name is Alicia Philipp & I have been working in the counseling field for over 15 years with my LPC license in the state of Georgia. I started out working primarily in Career Counseling, first in a non-profit organization, and then in private practice. As such, I am very experienced in helping people who are undecided about their career direction, as well as coaching people through the job search process. As so many life issues are intertwined, I started offering counseling that addresses many other aspects of my clients' lives. My areas of experience include: Anxiety, Stress Management, Life Transitions, Self-Esteem, Depression, and Grief

I work with individuals who want to find ways to make changes in their life and to learn to cope with changes they may not have planned. I try to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can be yourself. I want to walk alongside my clients, help to empower them, guide them into self-discovery, and develop healthy skills, all of which can help them to find hope through difficult situations.

In my own life, I have been married many years, have 2 children, and understand well the difficulties that people, especially women, face in juggling multiple roles. Life can change quickly, and learning to adapt, developing supportive relationships, and living a full life is what helps us along the journey, but sometimes we get stuck along the way and counseling can help get you unstuck. It is an honor to see my clients reach their goals, especially those they maybe once thought were impossible. I look forward to working with you.
