About
My focus is on compassionate, warm, attuned, and evidence-based care, emphasizing the body and our experiences as physical beings in a complex world. For the past decade, I have supported people from ages 0-80 in recovering from trauma and moving toward wholeness and autonomy. Although I have significant advanced training in several trauma-focused treatment modalities, my approach is to work with the people I serve to develop their self-knowledge and autonomy rather than prescribing or dictating as an "expert." This means creating an understanding of what is happening for you in the present, how your past experiences have shaped your present life and internal experience, and building the ability to consciously choose how you will live and experience yourself in the future.
