It takes courage and strength to seek help. Congratulations on taking that first step. My name is Alex Villarreal and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Austin, Texas. My experience has primarily been working with complex trauma and crisis, relational issues, personality disorders and LGBTQ issues.I take a very direct & active approach in therapy and employ interventions from various modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and internal family systems. I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment that will allow you to feel heard and seen. My goal is to help you get to know and love parts of yourself that you have been at war with. This process can be hard but it is worth it and I’d love to help you through it.
