About

Hello, my name is Aida. I have more than twenty years experience working with adults, adolescents, couples and families in my areas of expertise that include relationships, stress management, depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, women’s issues, career concerns, transitions and social justice. I have worked in hospital, educational and outpatient settings. I have a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work from NYU. I am a licensed clinical social worker, certified school social worker and a certified clinical supervisor.

 I value cultural competence and have significant experience with intersectional identities and in working with diverse populations both internationally and locally.


In addition to problem solving, I believe the task of therapy is to better understand ourselves, one another, and our lived experiences in this world in order to effectively effect change. My approach is evidence based, hands on, solution focused and goal oriented.
