Personal Statement
Having trouble with your relationship? Wondering why you're still in it? Trying to put the past behind you but can't? Confused about your place in the world? Mind racing? Worried all the time? On edge? Walking on eggshells? Just can't seem to get moving? Wondering if your alcohol or drug use is getting in the way of your goals - or maybe someone else's substance use has you preoccupied? Come to Counseling for the Heart, Mind, and Spirit. Talk it over in safety. No judgment. No criticism. Come, receive acceptance and care from an experienced professional.
I provide a safe, warm, comfortable, accepting environment. For clients to explore heart, mind, spirit, life and relationships. For counseling interns to participate in RI approved supervision and for licensed professionals to consult about current cases and self-care.
I am well-versed in 12-Step recovery principles and language. I have training and experience treating substance abuse and trauma. Using Imago Relationship Therapy I teach couples and families to embrace their own story and recognize how it affects their relationships. You will dialogue safely, feeling heard and understood.
I practice in a discrimination-free environment. If you have suffered the painful affects of bigotry in any form, my intention is that you find safety and healing in my care. Your life matters to me.
