Personal Statement

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified EMDR practitioner. I incorporate several, complimentary modalities to holistically address the mental, emotional and somatic (body) aspects of healing. These approaches may include: Mindfulness, Eye Movemenent Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Yoga for Trauma.

As your therapist, I will bring compassion, knowledge, skills and experience to what will be a collaborative process. My role is to provide a safe and supportive space, and the necessary guidance to support your healing.

We are a product of biology and experience; understanding the interaction of these factors lies at the heart of healing. When these factors combine in such a way that undermines your relationship with yourself and those you love, you may choose to engage in therapy as a means to move through the challenges you face in a supported and healthy way. The therapeutic relationship is a tool at your disposal; a means to grow, to heal, and to evolve. It is an honor an a privilege to support this process as a therapist.
