Your healing is my priority! Life can be difficult and my specialty is helping you to uncover strengths that empower you to get through the worst of times so that you can experience the best life possible. I am a culturally sensitive Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist from North Carolina with over 13 years of developing trusting therapeutic relationships with clients while seeking to understand the challenges they face emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I have been described as nurturing, caring, supportive, encouraging, and inspirational. My counseling approach utilizes primarily a combination of humanistic, strength-based, and cognitive behavioral tools to address client issues . I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families using a variety of therapeutic interventions such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child Centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Coaching, Love and Logic, Nurturing Parenting Interventions, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I am truly interested in your story and will listen with both compassion and empathy without judgement.

I am experienced in working with clients in the areas of addiction, trauma, life-transitions, shame, regret, fear, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, relationship issues, parenting issues, gender identity, spiritual struggles, low self-esteem, and developing coping skills to overcome life-challenges.
