About

I am a licensed marriage and family counselor with at least 10-years of experience working within mental health. I have been licensed since 2016 and providing clinical care to a number of families, couples, and individuals. There has been numerous types of complaints I have engaged with clients in treatment, though some of my specialties include relational distress (couples/families), self-esteem/confidence concerns, anger management, low moods, anxieties, parenting issues, disruptive/defiant behavioral issues, and adjustment/transitional challenges related to school/work/home. I have attained additional certification related to Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I often tailor my approaches to the needs of the client, and what allows you to have the best growth experience from treatment. Therefore, with that said, I often lean into the following dynamic treatment approaches: Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Mindfulness practices, Together Facing the Challenges, Motivational Interviewing, Prepare/Enrich marital work, and Structural Family Therapy. I am constantly honing my skill and adding more specializations and training to provide the most integrative and holistic treatment.

My counseling style is warm, friendly, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I hope to learn about you and your life experiences so I can meet you where you are. When working with me, there is no stigmatization or negative labels. This growth is all your own, and there is no judgement in the circumstances that brought you. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life. Taking that first step towards a change is one that is so very empowering. If you are ready to take that step, I cannot wait to be a part of your journey with an abundance of support and therapeutic tools.

I look forward to working with you!
