About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been practicing for the past 6.5 years, primarily in an inpatient, acute care, psychiatric facility, working with an adult population of 18 an up. I have treated clients with depression, anxiety, self harming behaviors, and suicidal thoughts/actions. Typically many of my patients experience these emotions as a result of trauma and struggle with finding or accessing resources in order to aid in their care.

I adopt a Person Centered and Solution Focused approach, recognizing that my clients have unique strengths and abilities that will help facilitate the therapeutic process with support and understanding from myself in order to find a solution that they can come to on their own.

Working in an inpatient setting for the past several years has helped me to understand that it is difficult to allow ourselves to be vulnerable enough to ask for help from others. I appreciate the opportunity to help you on your journey to wellness and count it a privilege to be able to hear your story.
