Hi there! My name is Yvonne. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Illinois with over 10 years experience. My experience ranges from working in mental/behavioral health inpatient units and centers, medical units, outpatient clinics, community settings, and settings addressing the needs of veterans. My education and diverse experience has allowed me to gain knowledge of working with those facing depression, anxiety, grief, anger, stress, relationship issues, family issues, substance use, homelessness, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

I believe in the philosophy of “meeting you where you are” which will allow us the ability to create a treatment plan that meets your unique and specific needs. My therapeutic style combines cognitive- behavioral, cognitive-processing, and strength based perspective that aids in creating an atmosphere where you will feel comfortable with sharing your thoughts and feelings freely as well as encourage growth and the ability to embrace change. I understand the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship that is genuine and creates a level of trust.
