I am a licensed therapist in Louisiana with 20 years of experience. I’ve worked in both outpatient and inpatient behavioral healthcare settings. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship, anger and addiction issues. I have also helped people who have experienced some trauma, physical and emotional abuse.

My therapeutic style is light-hearted, collaborative and interactive. As a therapist, it is important for me to provide a safe, non-judgmental, therapeutic environment at all times. I believe it’s important for everyone to be heard and treated with the utmost dignity and respect. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and varies with each individual as I don’t believe one therapeutic approach fits all. However, I am a proponent of person-centered and behavioral therapies as I believe in empowering the client to make decisions and choices they deem best for themselves.

As the therapist, I believe my job is to empower, be supportive and provide constructive feedback when warranted. I offer a approach that best fits the needs of each individual and will create a treatment plan with specific goals and objectives that meet are tailored to your needs. It takes strength and courage to address challenges life sometimes presents. It takes strength and courage to look inward, process and explore more conducive ways to effectively function and manage aspects of our being that feels out of sync and not adequately balanced. .
