I received my Master of Social Work degree from New York University in 2001. I have been a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Wyoming for 18 years working in non-profit community mental health and outpatient substance abuse treatment settings.

There are times in all of our lives when we can use support. Whether you are transitioning into a new phase of life through marriage, parenthood, divorce, a move, or simply wanting to experience more joy and acceptance in your current phase of life; the support I provide can help you through these challenging times. Together we will identify the goals you have for your treatment and I will support you as you move closer to that which you desire.

My work with clients is client-centered. This means that you are the driver of your treatment. I will draw from various treatment modalities: cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed practices, and positive psychology. However, the most important predictor of a successful therapeutic outcome is the positive therapeutic relationship. If you do not feel that we are a good “fit”, I will encourage you to seek a different therapist. The therapeutic relationship cannot be undervalued and it’s worth the time to find a therapist with whom you fit. I hope to be that person for you and look forward to connecting.
