All you need is within yourself. As your therapist, it is my goal to guide you in a journey of self- healing and exploration. I create a non-judgmental, safe, affirming, and empathetic environment to process thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I utilize a combination of different treatment modalities, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed approaches, and even humor to support clients with growth and healing. I encourage clients to advocate for their needs as this is crucial for effective treatment and building a secure therapeutic relationship. In our work together, we will aim to establish a strong foundation for growth, healing, and self-empowerment. My commitment and dedication as a psychotherapist lie within the understanding that every living being, including myself, is the teller of their own story. It is my belief that everyone has the capacity to heal themselves with the help of others. As a queer woman of color, my passion is to consistently advocate for diverse therapeutic spaces as this is a gap in my field. When I am not working, you can find me reading, paddleboarding in the summer, binging true crime Netflix series, or talking (I mean playing) with my two sassy cats Leia and Nevaeh! Fun fact: I’m a fraternal twin and am the oldest by 4 minutes!
