I’m Yshkeyna Hamilla (pronounced “EEsh-key-na Ha-mee-ya”), a whole-person-health woman therapist in East central Florida for 20+ years. My favorite things to do are help people : - Reduce stress and anxiety; build confidence, self esteem; - Sort out and heal communication and relationship concerns, with experience as a conflict resolution mediator for a county court in Florida. - Heal successfully & rapidly from loss/ grief/ trauma/ PTSD- past or recent; - Help especially with women’s issues and LGBTQ interests; - I also have a background in guided meditations, yoga, and spirituality for those so inspired. I'm skilled in a wide range of extremely successful therapies, especially the newer advanced ones that facilitate an easier, more successful life shift. These include everything from the old traditional CBT (changing your thinking = have different feelings), to NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming), A.R.T. (an eye movement therapy like EMDR, for easier, deeper, more rapid healing), Gestalt, Hypnotherapy, EFT, The Landmark Forum Advance courses, and guided meditations. I have also run recovery groups specializing in helping people from problems due to addiction in their family (self esteem, ACOA and codependency, etc.). In addition to being versed in many different therapeutic approaches over the last 20+ years, I am very holistic, integrating care and empowering your whole self- Mentally, Emotionally, Physically and Spiritually. As a therapist I have been described as kind, gentle, yet honest, insightful and direct, able to get to the heart of the matter and of what matters the most to you. Our work together can be amazingly encouraging, healing, freeing, and uplifting. Occasionally seeing humor & synchronicity in your life helps too. I work with all ages, usually from 16 - 99, and love helping with the many changes that work, relationships, and life changes bring.
