Allow me to assist you with your relational, behavioral, and emotional needs. Hello, I am Yolanda Pender, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas, and a National Certified Counselor. I have over 17 years of progressive counseling experience in working with both civilian and military individual and couples counseling, marriage mentoring, family counseling, social services, trauma/grief, and personal development.

While we cannot change the past, let me assist you with understanding and finding an agreeable resolution to the challenges the past and not so distant concerns for the future, presents in your current situation. I believe in extending compassion and understanding to every client and all are treated with honesty, dignity, and respect.

My counseling style is an interactive and collaborative approach and developed to meet the unique needs of each individual client's needs. I operate from a humanistic approach, utilizing Cognitive, Interpersonal, Psycho-dynamic, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, in addition to others as needed. Understanding that we are all unique, my goal is to assist you with finding the therapeutic technique most beneficial to your success.
