Life can be challenging leaving you unsure of what is your next step. My name is Yolanda Alford and I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in North Carolina with close to 15 years of experience in treating individuals, couples, and families in clinic and private practice settings.


The therapeutic approaches that I find most effective are Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Although those have been found to be most effective in my experience of counseling, I am not limited to those approaches, I am here to provide you with guidance to a healthier life.
I have had the privilege to be trained in various therapeutic approaches; therefore, will utilize whichever approach deems most effective to meet my clients’ needs.
