Ybel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist with over 8 years of experience working with teens, young/older adults, and families. She is experienced in working with all ages; children to adults in individual and group sessions. Ybel employs a humanistic and person-centered approach with an aim at fostering safety, openness, creativity, understanding, self-awareness, self-esteem, and trust within the therapeutic experiencing. Ybel encourages clients to explore their inner world through the lens of compassion, mindfulness, and self-care to help promote mental and emotional healing. Her work experience includes treating individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, interpersonal conflicts, addictions/substance abuse, struggles surrounding trauma and loss, parenting stress, and challenging life transitions. Ybel is dedicated to empowering clients through education and by developing healthy coping skills. When Ybel isn't working, she enjoys reading, dancing, painting/coloring, and spending time with her family.
