About

Hello,
I am Wiltshire Hinds a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My life's journey has brought me to these crossroads where I now have the opportunity to be a part of your journey. Since my early days in South America to the present day, I have always been passionate about helping others. As a therapist I have been blessed to expand my calling on a professional and personal level. So, I want to say Thank You!! for allowing me to share in your Life's journey as we explore the chance for a better quality of life and happiness. Let's embrace this journey of hope, change and fulfillment.

I have been actively engaged in the counseling profession since 2011. I have experience providing therapy and the opportunity for positive therapeutic outcomes in multiple treatment settings including severe mental health, substance abuse/addictions and criminal offending. I have worked towards improving the quality of life for clients experiencing struggles with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues (especially fatherhood), addiction, trauma, abuse and those having general concerns about the purpose and direction of their life’s journey.

I am experienced in using multiple counseling styles. I believe that therapy should be tailored to the needs, learning style, strengths and engagement style of the client. As such, I mostly use an eclectic approach of service delivery that becomes tailored to your unique needs as we progress through our journey of change. I strongly believe in having a good therapeutic bond of respect, sensitivity, and compassion while maintaining a Solutions-based approach of therapeutic guidance towards a positive outcome.
I am always aware of the strength and courage it takes to reach out for help. So, thank you for taking this initial step to a better life. You will have my support as we begin this journey of hope and empowerment.

I look forward to working with you as we begin this journey of hope, change and fulfillment.
