I have been in the helping profession for 20 years and have been licensed as a counselor for 3. I have worked in public and private sectors as well as with the incarcerated. I have worked in addictions as well. I have worked with teenagers and adults alike.
I am client centered, meaning in can aid individuals in identifying their motivation, motivators and using that to become more productive. Understanding that life is a journey and not a destination helps to facilitate growth with putting and end suffering as we all experience pain as it is inevitable. I use a cognitive behavioral, rational emotive and experiential approach to therapy.
The first step to therapy is choosing to do so which can be difficult. I look forward to making your steps easier if you choose me.
