I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I am licensed in the State of Illinois. I have over 20 years of counseling experience. I am also a retired Navy veteran and I am particularly focused on service to veteran and active duty military and their dependents. However I welcome all clients who may be in need of help. I have provided services for clients with a wide range of challenges. This includes Trauma related issues, substance related issues, anxiety and depression and couples and relationship difficulties. My counseling style is casual and personable and friendly yet clinical. I do not believe in a cookie cutter approach to therapy. Depending on the needs of the individual I will us any appropriate combination of counseling techniques.
