I believe that creating a therapeutic relationship of trust and safety is a cornerstone of building the framework that enables clients to achieve their goals. I strive to work collaboratively with clients via a person-centered approach in a manner that empowers them to identify existing strengths and discover new ways to approach challenges and move toward improved mental health and wellness. My areas of specialty and focus include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, attachment, chemical dependency/substance use disorder issues, senior issues, athletic performance, and work performance concerns. My focus is on working with adults (individuals and couples) and adolescents (18+). I utilize evidenced-based approaches that include CBT, MI, ACT, elements of DBT, and other interventions (including meditation and mindfulness) – recognizing that each client is unique and deserving of an individualized approach.
