My specialty is working with people who have unresolved traumatic stress or losses; these may be complicated by depression and anxiety. Often people come to me feeling irritable, having difficulty sleeping or focusing, experiencing mood swings or angry outbursts. Sometimes they are avoiding people or places or activities out of fear. Sometimes they have intrusive thoughts and find themselves re-experiencing disturbing events. I help people work with their strengths and help them heal their pain and fear so that can thrive in their own way.

I have a long history of using mindfulness personally; now I use mindfulness and therapy to help my clients find tools for current relief and tools they can use going forward.
