Hi!
My name is Whitney Larsen and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Utah. I am passionate about helping people find the skills, insights, and confidence to live a more fulfilled and satisfying life. I work with people looking for a therapist to assist them in improving experiences of symptoms from anxiety, depression, transitions in life stages, being overwhelmed, grief and loss, trauma, chronic or acute health issues, self esteem/self-efficacy, communication needs, and relationship problems. I have seen many people seek therapy when they feel unfulfilled and stuck in an area of life that is preventing them from improving and moving forward in their lives. Some people recognize their behavioral, emotional, or cognitive (thought) patterns are causing problems in their lives and seek therapy to learn new ways to manage.
I am a therapist that recognizes a need for empathy and sympathy but also doesn't want to mince words or beat around the bush because I know people are coming to therapy to make a change so I want to meet my clients where they are and get right to business.
