Hi! My name is Whitney Austin and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida and Texas. I have been in the field of Social Work for over 7 years and I absolutely love what I do. Seeking therapy takes a great deal of courage and I appreciate that you have taken the time to view my profile. I know that life can become overwhelming and I would like to provide you with a safe and non-judgmental space to collaboratively explore and resolve your challenges. I have a master’s degree in clinical social work from Florida State University and an undergraduate degree in psychology from Alabama State University.

My experience includes working with individuals with a variety of life struggles including anxiety, depression, increased stress, PTSD and trauma, anger management, self-esteem challenges, life/relationship changes, and grief and loss. I have worked with a variety of populations that include toddlers, youth, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Some of my treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

I assist my clients in exploring their resources, building their resiliency, and gaining insight to accomplish their life goals. I am fortunate to be able to witness these transformations daily and want to help you do the same.
