My name is Wendy Kraus, and I'm a Licensed Certified Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. I earned my Master of Psychology in 1998 from Washington College. I have worked in a variety of areas including private practice, partial hospital programs for youth & adults, school-based therapy, psychiatric rehabilitative services for youth & adults, as well as behavior management & therapy for those with developmental & intellectual disabilities. My work with adults includes those struggling with anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, relationship issues and stress caused by everyday life. I provide a holistic approach to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for adults that focused on all aspects of their being through mindfulness and behavior change.
Over the past 20 years in the helping field I have found that being connected and actively listening to others is the key to forming a positive and pro-active relationship. Having a solid foundation is paramount if we are to successfully navigate difficult times and dare to change how we think, react and respond for a more rewarding life. I hold true to the belief that in order to help I must respect where a person is coming from and meet them there and help them see where it is that they want to go emotionally and mentally.

I offer messaging, live chat and phone sessions with limited availability in the evenings and Saturdays.
