I am a therapist because I truly care about my clients. I want to coordinate with you, not direct you. I also understand that you are the expert and my job is to help you live your best life-to be your best self. I work hard to establish trust and rapport forgoing any judgment. I have been a practicing social worker for over 15 years, most recently working in private practice as a psychotherapist. I have also worked in crisis intervention, medical social work, case management, inpatient mental health, and outpatient treatment for clients managing substance use disorders.

I consider my theoretical perspective to be eclectic, pulling mostly from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Each client is unique. I know how challenging life can be. So whether its a life transition, relationship problem, or specific mental health disorder you are struggling with, I will do my best to relieve the negative symptoms, and help you cultivate healthier coping skills.
