I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 13 years experience working with adults with depression, anxiety, and BiPolar Disorder. I ran a foster family agency for many years and I enjoy helping struggling parents to learn new skills to be an effective and confident parent. I believe the crux of therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. I have an approach based on unconditional positive regard and I want to work with clients that are motivated to grow and change. I have found that my clients get some relief and show improvement quite quickly. I have extensive experience working with clients who have experienced sexual abuse and that come from families with substance abuse, and adults that grew up with alcohol and drug abusing parents.
